Oh no, you're post just made me think of movie critics. So my post was inspired by yours, but was not a response to you hahaha. IMBD is alright. But I still see movies based on if they appeal to me or not, not really spurred by anyone I know saying any certain movie is worth seeing.

But even then, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection are, in their ways, pretty awful I think .. They may have moments of quality, but ultimately, they lack integrity. Alien 3 was the result of endless compromise and rewrites and Resurrection seems just a way to cash in a little extra on the fading franchise. I'd take Prometheus over both those movies any day!

Again, anyone remotely interested in the Alien series needs to see the Workprint version of Alien 3 that comes with the blu ray. It improves the movie by a LOT. Seriously, it felt like a different movie.
Edit: Now, it still doesn't put it on par with Alien or Aliens, but compared to the crapfest that it originally turned out to be, it is a MAJOR improvement.

From my small amount of movie knowledge I think Sharknado was one of the worst movie I ever saw. I couldn't even finish it. I'm sure there are others but that was the first one to pop into my head. I could really put any B-movie on this list, I don't get their appeal.
Also, I thought the retarded guy in Gigli was hilarious and he made the movie somewhat enjoyable for me. Edit: This might be controversial but I thought "The Last Dragon" was terrible.

Sharknado is a beautiful gem. Don't know what you are talking about.

No it wasn't. There was nothing about it to make it better than any of the thousands of other trashy creature features that are made every year. It just happened to have a funny title. I love those kinds of movies, but Sharknado was just nothing special.

"Are You Scared?" easily takes the cake for me as the stupidest movie I've ever had the displeasure to see. I had absolutely no idea just what genre I was trying to watch, and even then, the two genres it seemed to try to be, it did a horrible job at both. I couldn't tell if it was meant to be a serious horror movie, or a knock off Saw parody. It didn't terrify me whatsoever, nor did I laugh. I mean, did they even try?

Charles Dutton. Awesome actor. Was also in Menace to Society and Mimic. Both great flicks BTW in case you've never seen them.
