Same!
I'm looking forward to the prequel sequel coming out whenever. I don't think they nailed down a date/year yet.

I, too, enjoyed Prometheus. I think people need to look at it in context: Alien 3, Alien Resurrection, Alien vs. Predator 1 and 2. Just let that simmer for a moment. The series had to go in a RADICALLY different direction because it had a lot of cred it needed to make up. Ridley Scott started the whole damn franchise, so his return meant a lot was riding on it. That meant breathing some fresh life into it by going places the series never went. You know...adding some mystery. Were there big mistakes? Yep, but it was VASTLY superior than the movies I mentioned above and as a huge Alien fan, I was satisfied. At least for now. If they leave the series hanging, I'll be pissed.
I will give Alien 3 some credit, though, it has grown on me...especially with the Workprint version provided with the Alien Anthology blu rays. It is MUCH better than the chopped up crapfest that ended up in theaters.

I just can't get over that chick who had an alien baby but was like totally fine after and even able to run and jump and stuff. Least believable **** ever. I guess I went into it thinking it was going to be deep and maybe a bit scary?, but it was oh, so shallow and not even remotely entertaining. The worst is that people can't admit it because they are in love with Ridley Scott and the Alien franchise. And you guys seem to be perfect examples! I get that though. I'm in love with stuff that others find stupid also. So no hard feelings. I'm sure you are not morons, and I accept that you have your perfectly legit reasons.
Still, worst movie I have ever seen ever. |

Personally, I had mixed to positive feelings about the movie, but if it's the worst movie you've ever seen you must only see good movies. |
