I don't think the IP could get any worse, so it has that going for it. I mean all our expectations are so lowered after getting kicked in the balls 3 times (or 4 if you're old [sorry Jansz]) in a row that the movie cannot disappoint any more.

I have to admit I don't understand any of this post. What's "the IP"? And what do you mean by getting kicked in the balls 4 times if you're old?

I mean I don't think Disney will do a worse job than what Lucas did with the prequel trilogy and Return of the Jedi. Return is one of those movies that you kind of like if you're young, but really doesn't hold up when you get older. I was poking fun at your age by stating that you may have already realized that fact in 1983 when the film was released.

Well, I guess 6 is old to some people.

But, no, I still love Return of the Jedi. It's probably my favorite Star Wars movie to be honest. And, yes, Phantom Menace was kind of a disappointment in retrospect, but I liked the other two prequels a lot.

I'm still not sure what "the IP" is though?

Sorry, I was drafting an intellectual property document for a client today and am still thinking in abbreviations, well, intellectual property, Star Wars.
