I'm not that big on horror films, but here goes:

1. Carnival Of Souls (original early 60s version, not the remake)
2. Night Of The Living Dead (original late 60s version)
3. Eraserhead
4. and 5. Any random Dracula/Frankenstein/Wolfman/other monster movie from the 30s, 40's 50s, or any random cheapie Japanese monster movie from back in the day.

Carnival Of Souls is a low budget film that really works. I have the director's cut on VHS (I don't know if it's available anywhere else), which ads a few minutes and makes a scene toward the end of the movie make more sense. It was the only feature film made by director Herk Harvey, who made industrial and educatioanl films. It was a great influence on George Romero and others.

Eraserhead is great but to me, it doesn't hold up to repeated viewings. I wouldn't want to see Night Of The Living Dead that often, either. But I could (and have) watched Carnival Of Souls again and again.
