Actually I think it is better in every facet. Twine was better than golden eye. |
GoldenEye.. I didn't even know there was a 2nd one.. I spent many hours fighting shooting friends. Facility and the Temple were my two favorite levels.
I forgot Minecraft on my list, whoops. |
Golden eye has not aged well though but at the time it was awesome.
it's funny, i dislike Fps now but i loved Golden eye and playing Vs with friends back then, imo before online Fps became what they are now Golden eye was a glimpse of that and that was what made it great. @DwnWthVwls California games was awesome and so was punch out, i recently downloaded Super punch out for the Snes and it's still fun and looks great. |
So I pulled out my NES the other day. Excitebike is still one of the greatest games of alltime. I literally played it for an hour.

Well since i am an RPG fan i say diablo 2,its 11 years and there are people still playing it
|
Idk if it's the best but for me 'Civilization' is one of the best games ive ever played..
I didn't grow up with a computer so i missed out on alot of good Sim games but thankfully Civilization crossed over to gaming consoles and i got to play it. ive played it in 3 different ports, in the Snes, in the DS and in the Ps3 and every version varied a little but it's still followed the original concept.. |

Jagged alliance 2, I'm a huge fan of SRPGs and this really was everything I could ask for. From ordering to maintaining and customizing an ungodly selection of guns and explosives, hiring mercenaries and keeping their relationships and moral in check, allowing them to train each other and forming a militia in surrounding towns not to mention the very solid and satisfying turn based gun fights, I've sunk so much time into this game and never got bored. |
This is a hard one for me. I could say The Last of Us for its amazing story/graphics/characters, but the gameplay kind of makes it more like a movie.
Ultimately the Super Mario series is the best for me more than anything. I love platform games... n64/snes/ps1. From the series itself: Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island - my favorite. |
