Default Any Doctor Who fans out there?

Ok, so I'm freaking stoked about Season 7 starting this fall! Anyone else out there a big fan? Who's your favorite Doctor? I think David Tennant will always be my Doctor at heart.

Also, who's your favorite villian?

There are, I imagine you'll find more when the series starts.

Favourite Villain ? From the classic series I think the Ice Warriors are due a return.
From the books - Faction Paradox.
From the new series the Weeping Angels by far.

Huge Doctor Who fan but can't stand the new series. Still watch the old series now and again.

I'm a Tennant fan too: think he really made the role his own in a way only Baker and Pertwee really managed. That said, it should be pointed out that I got into DW around the Pertwee era. But since it came "back" it's been mostly great, I just wish Chris had stayed on: thought he was great.

Some excellent storylines (some terrible ones too) but overall it's been great and I'm really looking forward to the new season. Can't believe I used to read mags like "Dreamwatch" and "SFX" where there would be regular appeals to bring the show back, and it never seemed like it would happen. Now you can't really imagine BBC without it!

I'm voting Tennant too. I was a little kid when Baker was the Doctor so he also has a special place in my heart.

I only got into Dr Who as an adult. Love it (though I don't religiously watch it week in - week out), I think steven Moffat (sp?) writes fantastic storylines!

I kind of wish they'd do a spin-off series on SyFy or something just focused on the Time Wars. I think that'd be awesome, maybe something a la Battlestar Galactica

I disagree, I think it would suck.

The whole point of the Time War is that it's this massive event that's a mystery.
The fact that you don't know about it what makes it the pivotal moment in the series.

It's just a back story that would just be ruined by over explaining everything.
