The whole film takes place in this completely constructed cinema universe, I think the free use of the term only added to the sense that this wasn't our world, it was the world of
Pulp Fiction.
As far as Django, I think I pissed myself when I saw the trailer. I also laughed my ass off when I heard that Tarantino wanted Will Smith to play Django.
