I really enjoyed it. The acting was fantastic. Great visuals. Four scenes that were really difficult to watch, which I think is a good quality.

As someone whose seen Alien only once (but plans on watching it again after seeing Prometheus, and then watching Prometheus again) I really, really liked this. 2001 is probably my favorite movie and Prometheus reminded me a lot of the elements and set up of 2001. The opening shot, first of all, basically set me up for the rest of the movie. There are questions raised, but they didn't force the answers on you and instead left so much of it interpretation.

I almost had the end of the movie correctly predicted with about 30 minutes to go...

Spoiler for spoiler: When Dr. Shaw and Janek have the conversation where Janek promises that they will bring none of this back to Earth, it was safe to assume Prometheus was going to be destroyed. I figured they couldn't kill ever character off and Dr. Shaw and David seems to be the 2 most likely to survive. I remembered when Dr. Shaw had her "sex scene" earlier in the movie and she mentioned she could not bare children. Also, I remembered all the scenes with David talking about his creator/his existence. Expected them to use the technology from the other ship (based on seeing the other mounds in the opening shot of the valley) to create their own race. Just my idea
