ParaNorman (2012)

This was one of my favorite movies from last year that I just found out it's on Instant Netflix. I would highly recommend this movie to everyone who has the service. It's got some of the best claymation I've ever seen in a movie and the story is well above what you'd expect from a horror movie ostensibly made for children.

My mother watched Louis CK's latest HBO special recently and was like, "Sara, do you know who Louis CK is?" I informed her I did. "I just saw a really funny stand-up special of his, and I'd never even heard of him before. He's hilarious, and smart, and not completely filthy. He's the best comedian I've seen since George Carlin." I proceeded to make her watch everything Louis CK on Netflix with me - both specials, and several episodes of his show - and she expressed her irritation that I'd never mentioned him before...when I absolutely have. I was sitting at her kitchen table with my laptop some months ago, showing my sister the Heckler episode where Louis calls Megan Hilty (from Smash; used to date a guy who acts on Broadway who graduated from my high school, so Kate and I have met her before) a ****. I informed my mom thusly. She said that calling Megan Hilty a **** wasn't nice. I said that she shouldn't have been a ****. I laughed. My mom scowled.

Also started watching Twin Peaks yet again. I don't think I can get tired of that show.

Has anyone else watched that new show Hemlock Grove, which sounds like a remake of Twin Peaks

Not yet, but the dude who played Declan in Degrassi: The Next Generation is in it, so I've not necessarily got the highest of hopes.

The UK Netflix library will, I'm assuming, continue to expand and hopefully quickly. It really isn't great to be honest. I noticed that Thor was just added to the US library? There is no way that you will find content like that added to the UK library so quickly. I'm flicking between the US and UK libraries and although the US one is by far and away the better of the two, the UK one has a few little advantages and so I cant really grumble.

Even the British TV section of the US library is better than the UK library and that just makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

PS. Although the US one doesnt have Red Dwarf. 1-0.
Mojo, can you access the US content even on this side of the world? I assumed you could not...

My problem is, that although netflix may have some of the movies I want to see or some of the series I like to watch, streaming channels have ALL of them. So why waste my time and money on a service which is likely to disappoint me when I have a service which does not?

It isn't even a quality issue anymore...

I watched the whole season in like three days. I loved it. For being a werewolf TV show i was expecting something along the lines of being human etc... but i actually liked the story line and the money put into the cgi and what not. The transformation from Man to wolf was very very graphic and amazing.

At the moment im trying to get my hubby to watch it but we have been locked on to Copper.

Copper was a pretty great show to. Produced by BBC and theres only one season on Netflix as of right now, The effort put into the show is amazing. I would also recommend this to everyone.

I'm just waiting for Sunday, for obvious reasons. I'm going to be so sleep deprived when I go into work on Monday.
