I actually like Edmure on the show, I am a bit iffy about Blackfish though. He's just a thug on the show.

Yeah, I really think they could have done with introducing the Blackfish back in the Eyrie. He just comes across as Edmure's miserable uncle instead of a badass gay old guy.

I don't think asshat is censored btw but I agree

but I think Clive Russell is amazing as the Blackfish, I really like Blackfish as a character anyway but the casting for him was great. I'm a bit iffy on Beric though.

also:
Spoiler for Show spoilers/possible book spoilers:

What do you guys think about Talisa being pregnant? There's a theory that Jeyne is pregnant in the books because of the hips thing, in Catelyn's POV chapter she says she has good hips, but in Jaime's chapter, Jaime says that she has narrow hips when he sees her. I've heard the theory is Jeyne is being hidden, and the Blackfish escapes to protect her or something like that. I don't understand why Talisa would be pregnant....

Yeah, I originally said asshole which is censored but when I noticed I swapped it to the classier asshat and snuck the colour in just to play it safe. I've warmed to Beric and Thoros a bit but I was kind of disappointed with them at the start of the series, mainly because I was expecting them to be very different. I've always imagined Beric as massively strong and tough in my head just because of the memetic unkillable status he has before you actually meet him and I always imagined Thoros as the classic chubby bald priest in a red robe. Then again I imagined Euron the same way but wearing grey so I guess I need to get that monk image out of my head when reading about them.

Spoiler for What Hermione was on about:
I really hope Talisa gets killed at the wedding or something just because I don't want Winterfell to pass to Robb's child. I'd rather Bran or Sansa got the North instead just because they're great characters and would have been through a lot more than some baby that gets an easy life having the adults winning his kingdom back for him.

You spotted the homosexual insinuations as well? I hadn't a clue until I read the forums.

Isn't that official? I thought it was a case like Renly 'n' Loras where it's not outright stated in the books but confirmed by GRRM.

I am not sure if it official or not, I don't think they have insinuated it in the show at all. I know there are other theories on why he hasn't married, like he has a lowborn mistress he is in love with, or he lost his true love to another suitor or something like that.

Nah, he's definitely a sword-swallower even if GRRM hasn't admitted it yet. The universe has got to get its quota of gay characters in somewhere. On that note I'm really surprised they haven't "explored" that part of Dany's character on the show. It would be a pretty easy way to get ratings up.

Haha, sword-swallower. Now there's a nickname.

After Olenna described Loras as one I've now decided it's the official term for a homosexual person in Westeros.
