You think S3 could be better than S1?

I think it already is!! I was rewatching the episodes in s3 and they're really great as a whole. I mean the Queen of Thorns is just especially perfect, I love the scene she has with Tywin. I'm glad they wrote in the part about Tywin confronting Olenna about Loras's sexual orientation and she just doesn't even give a fuck, at all. She's great.

Season 4 should be interesting though. I'm kinda mad we probably wont get the Martells for a while though.

I think the next episode is going to determine how this season is remembered It all pivots around it, like the home around the hearth.

Honestly I can't wait for it. For me the sub-plot that's about to be wrapped up by the next episode has grown pretty stale. Also I can't wait to see the reactions of the tiny amount of people that have come this far without having it all spoiled for them.

I'd say you'd be surprised that there is actually quite a large proportion who have not been spoiled, if not a slight majority.

Really? I tend to only hang round show-centric Tumblrs and Reddits because I still haven't dragged myself through book 4 but I tend to see a lot of people moaning about how they've had it spoiled for them.

On that note, why is show Edmure such an asshat? I liked him in the books because he came across as a well-meaning and kind-hearted but ultimately unimpressive leader. In the show he's just some incompetent prick that messes up Robb's plans and whines like a bitch every time he's not playing the leader.
