I had to do that book in Uni, and its written by a guy from where I live, bad bad memories..

Joffrey himself though is absolute quality. I thought Sean Bean would be the best character actor as Ned for obvious reasons, but the lad who plays Joffrey is probably the best of the lot. Also, Margaery. Kudos to the lucky bastard.

He is supposed to be really nice in real life as well, I bumped into him at Electric Picnic but just said hi(and Littlefinger who was with a small girl I can only presume was his daughter, I hugged him!), a mate of mine studied philosophy or theology in the same course as him in Trinity college, which means the actor is in his early twenties now, weird.

The most jarring thing in the world is to watch Batman Begins and see him playing an innocent young boy for a few brief moments. If Chrisptopher Nolan could have seen the future he would probably have casted someone that you don't now instinctively hate whenever he appears on screen.

Oh really? That's bloody awesome! Let me know if you spot Shae or any of her fellow tradeswomen, might have to take a cheeky ferry over if I know they're about..

Crazy how he's so old though, he does genuinely look/act about 15. Didn't realise he was so old until I imbd'd him recently. Top notch.

Hate? What!? Why? He's one of the best going, at least you know when he's in a scene it will be a good laugh. Compare that to the POVs of Sansa, later Dany and Sam, snore.

Nah there are no whore scenes filmed in Ireland. Aidan Gillen and Joffrey live here, it was just a coincidence that they were both at the festival. I am pretty sure Aidan was stoned as well, lol. He told me he loved me, in like a bro way, only after I told him I loved him though!

Ahh right, that's a shame..I had no idea they were both Irish, but then I was pretty shocked by how posh Ygritte was as well. Aidan is really good to be fair, Littlefinger was tough to live up to so respect to the no homo man love. To be fair, most are as I imagined, but I am a bit disappointed with Jon Snow.

I definitely enjoyed it, but it seems like each new episode is my new favorite, so I think I'm going to wait till the season has wrapped up so I can more accurately pick one. The scene between Arya and Gendry was really good and I loved the fight between The Hound and Beric Dondarrion, plus the bathtub scene between Jaime and Brienne was just as I imagined it in the book.

Roose Bolton is becoming my favourite character. Which is surprising, I love the actor for him. Also, from a non Irish perspective(I'm asking you guys ) what does his accent sound like? English or Irish?

i'm stunned....again favorite episode yet....the fight between The Hound and Beric was damn near as i pictured it and i agree with you Po.....Roose Bolton was fucking awesome in this episode....i'll get back to you on the accent after i watch in ten more times this week ....i do love how they are tying in everything the left out although in weird but good ways (i'm still a bit pissed that they killed the Tickler so early....was looking forward to that scene)....but i have to say that my favorite part of this episode was the last 10 seconds.....direction at its best...the two heartbroken and beaten children in dismay and the wide shot of them with the lion....perfect!

i will say there was only one time reading the books (first and now second) that i cried and i feel they have set it up to where i will cry when i watch it....i just hope they do it right
