I'd say spoiler the mention of who's wedding it is, just in case people know something will go down in it before they see or read it.

Now you know what the big deal about the Red Wedding is.

Done. Yes, I know there's at least three possible ones that could refer to but out of the two I've encountered so far that one had the highest Holy Shit quotient.

Who on earth is this Geoffrey you speak of? The king of Westeros' lowborn counterpart?

I will never forget reading it, and I am sure you won't either. I think the reason it was so shocking (at least for me) was because of how vulnerable they were, they were metaphorically naked, butchered like dogs.

you guys mock me

Joffrey....in my opinion is nothing but a little bitch in the book and even worse in the show...although i am loving the manipulation of him by the Tyrell's....and anything that causes Cersi pain brings a smile to my face

so i'm about a third into the third book on my re-read of the series and i must say that this time i'm able to really concentrate on just how good of a writer Martin really is

Well I feel sorry for him. But I still want him to die, does that make sense?

I've had large amounts of the next couple of book s spoiled for me so if I was responsible for that then I'm genuinely sorry and sympathetic to your plight.

Also I just read Jon's chapter after that big one. /wrists
