I hate the type of person who act like they're an authority over me on the series even though they're a casual watcher and I'm on my fourth ****ing reread of the entire series...
also I hate Sansa haters. but more importantly: |

Glad the plot is really starting to come together quite ferociously in A Clash Of Kings. Second season here just came out in a limited edition blu-ray boxset.
I'm particularly liking Tyrion at the moment and how hard he's hammering a hand down while scheming. Only around 250 pages into the book though, so it's hard to tell. I'm still wondering if Cersei ever becomes an interesting character besides from being a spiteful female dog. So much prefer Cersei in the tv series. She has a great demeanour. Lena Headey plays her very well. I don't know what's to hate about Sansa beyond the first installment. But then again the view seems to focus on the sticky situation more than her as a character at the moment. I guess she blossoms later in the books?

Cersei, to me really becomes a sympathetic character. I dunno, I just really love her in the books even though she's horrible, lmao. People like to call Sansa weak because she doesn't do the sort of things Arya does, or that's the train of thought even though she even thought about killing Joffrey (therefore also sacrificing herself). Even at the beginning of season 2 and aCoK, it's evident how strong she is. She's suffered so much and been betrayed by people she thought would keep her safe (her thing about true knights), she still is good at heart, as evidenced when she speaks up against Ser Dontos being murdered, and she manipulated Joffrey into making him a fool instead. She could have suffered for that. I guess Sansa ~blooms~ in later books but honestly she really started to bloom in her last chapter in aGoT I mean remember this: "or maybe he'll give me yours" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Compare that to "I want to be his queen and have his little babies" to that. lmao SORRY FOR THE NOVEL BUT I HAVE A LOT SANSA FEELS~!!! |

I defend Sansa violently tho to other people. I just really identify with her so much because she retains her goodness and her femininity even though she's been damaged so much by horrible people she thought she was safe with, people who were supposed to love her but she's strong enough to overcome it and that literally has been my struggle for my teenage years up till now. So I get super offended when people think Sansa are weak because going through that is literally hell on earth. Not to mention, she's fucking 11-13 years old in the books, what do they expect? I personally think she's going to end up learning a shit ton from Littlefinger and we're gonna see some really awesome shit from her in the future. I think a lot of people into ASOIAF are misogynistic shitbags about the women characters when seriously, they're the best characters! I mean don't even get me started on the shit people say about Catelyn. They basically blame her for every bad fucking thing that happens in the books. |
