I was satisfied with the show last night.
Spoiler for The Talking Dead:

I thought the midseason premiere was damn great. I wasn't expecting anything like that to happen so fast or for the episode to go with the style and message that it did. I loved everything about it. After the hospital plot I was feeling kind of bored and discouraged but after tonight's episode and the hopeless theme behind the coming episodes I'm feeling really good about this show again.

I just don't understand some fans of the show. I just finished watching the new episode and the first thing I see is someone on my Facebook who called it boring and said it was too slow.
I take issue with that for numerous reasons. For one I thought it had a decent amount of action in it and thought it moved at a much faster pace than pretty much all of season four did. Secondly, and most importantly, why do some people seem to just hate the episodes that aren't just all mindless slaughters of zombies? The new episode was truly brilliant and I still feel the show has just gone from strength to strength over the last two years. |
