Recently saw Stewart Francis and Russell Kane live...not on the same stage obv...Russell Kane was by far the most entertaining to watch...loads of energy on stage...his set had a certain Russell Brandesq quality to it...I was slightly squiffy when watching Stewart Francis and was seeing double...so I prob found his one-liners more funny than they actually were!!

I thought I'd mention Bernard Manning because nobody else has. He's probably a little too much for today's TV etc, but he's funny and thats all that matters isnt it.

I wouldnt bother searching for him if you're easily offended.

Recently I have been enjoying Louis C.K, Doug Stanhope, Kevin Smith(Though more so Q&A stuff, but it is funny.), Bill Hicks, and Eddie Izzard.

Jeremy Hotz is my go-to guy. It's a shame that there are people who've not heard of the man. He's fantastic.

My personal top comedians change a lot, but since I've found a 24 hour stand up comedy radio station and no longer have to suffer through hearing the same music anymore, I'm constantly reminded of comedians I've forgotten about, and then I can rush home and youtube 'em.

Right now, I'd have to say that my current top 10 is, in no particular order:

Louis CK
Jeremy Hotz
Jim Gaffigan
Mitch Hedberg
Emo Philips
Demetri Martin
Maria Bamford
Kristen Schaal
Doug Stanhope
Anthony Jeselnik

And then, in his own category since he didn't think of himself as a comedian, but as an entertainer, a song-and-dance man, Andy Kaufman.

Hands down Louis C.K. I don't know what it is about his humor, but it just freakin works for me. I love his show and every stand up special I've seen of his is just hilarious. I want to hang out with this guy.

I would just like to say I received a hell of a compliment a couple months ago when one of my wife's friends told her that my stories and the way I tell them always remind him of Louis C.K.

Yeah, I would take that as a hell of a compliment as well. I'd probably be all cocky after that, too.
