yeah I always found the falmer to be one of the tougher opponents, I hoard crap so I stick with light armour. It's the forsworn I have the most issues with, they tend to be way too unpredictable

Oh man, I think exploring that Lighthouse was my favorite Skyrim moment yet. I was just wandering along the Northern coast early in my Skyrim career, not doing anything quest-related, when I found it. It plays out like a horror-movie, with the notes and bodies and monsters and things. Very well done.

I think you get the quest to check up on the lighthouse in Solitude, but I guess you can just stumble over it and recieve the quest on location as well.

I think simply entering the lighthouse triggers it, it'll say something like "Investigate the murders inside the Lighthouse" or something like that, you don't need to be prompted by anything beforehand. You may have to read a note or something inside the lighthouse, I don't remember exactly what

That quest was indeed awesome, Bethesda have a real talent for creating that horror movie kind of atmosphere....Reminded me of The Dunwich Building in Fallout.

Had a field day last night with my bow, slaying a load of giants and mammoths from the safety of a high rocky outcrop where they couldn't get me, its a great way to boost up your level. I'm also finding the bow the best weapon in my arsenal, even though I like to bludgeon my opponents with a warhammer.

I am the exact same as you Unknown Soldier, it's always either my boe or my warhammer. Have almost finished my Archery contellation now!
