Markarth, nope, because guards (if you've investigated enough you see a nice pile of **** there) & forsworn.
Riften, hell no. Because Thieves Guild. Well I'm a member of it, but if i were a civilian.
So.. Falkreath and Solitude seem decent enough.
I'm a member of the thieves guild, so I guessed Riften would be a safe place to live.

I'm almost upto level 30 now and have really improved my heavy armour and my character is looking quite complete, my two-handed weaponry is good but where my character really rules are with bows. Need to improve my smithing so I can boost my weaponry even better.

I've finished off a whole load of misc missions and now back what I think is on the main mission and heading towards Solitude for the first time.

You should get married if you haven't.

He/She cooks for you and gives you 500$ and opens a store with your house where you can sell and buy goods.

The fact that I'm a lion warrior with a strong, sexy human female as my wife is fairly erotic to me as well.

How do you do that? I have companions that are women but they do not let me sex them or make me food.

Go to the inn in Riften, talk to the priest and buy the amulet of dibella off him, put it on and ask a girl to marry you and then go to the church in Riften.

Oh and I think you only get $100 a day, but still this adds up if you only visit her every so often.

Most of your companions are not flagged as 'marriageable' within the game. Unless you happen to be playing on pc where you can bring up the console and totally make Lydia your wife.

I was hoping one of our numerous tech gurus could help me figure out a way to play Skyrim on my Mac? I recently broke my PC laptop and replaced it with a Macbook but now I can't play Skyrim anymore Any help aside from "use google" would be appreciated fellers.

The problem you seem to be having stems from the fact that you have a mac.

In all seriousness though, It's not an area I have much experience in, but I would suggest trying something like Wine

If you install bootcamp and windows ontop of that, I'd assume you could then play Skyrim, although I'm not sure if you have an actual Windows disk with your laptop or a recovery cd, which is what they like to do now...
