Yeah, that's the main reason I'm not playing atm. My laptop has taken a turn for the worse since I was last playing it, and if I'm trying to fight more than one enemy the mouse lags so badly it's impossible to win against any decently powerful enemy. It's also rather annoying :P

So I'm also now one of these people who has seemingly done everything. I'll keep on doing the various side quests just because i like being high and in the world of skyrim but honestly this game doesn't have quite as much content as would seem.
Going to get these dragon masks and get married and then i will have done all the substantial parts. Anyone else who finished the guilds, main campaign, war, artifacts. Is there any other intriguing quests or anything worth looking at? Might have to go back to new vegas |

I wish the dragons went away after the main quest. I get that you need their souls for the words but still it ruins the fiction.
I hope, for an expansion, they do a warmer climate environment like the kahjits or redgaurds homeland. Or show the dwarves or snow elves :O |

This probably sounds really geeky, but if you guys actually lived in Skyrim which city, town or village would you chose to live in?
Of the places I've seen, I'd probably choose Whiterun as it seems a nice place, the Jarl seems like a decent type and the houses quite nice. Most importantly its built in a strategically defensive position, high up with open country around it, so prett good to defend from attackers. Riften I also like with its lake and nice countryside around it, but that countryside like most in Skyrim seems to house spiders! Of the villages, Riverwood seems a pleasant spot but there would be no defence from an attack. |

^Geeky, but fun question
Whiterun is a good choice, but I guess I'd have to go with Solitude as I would like to live by the ocean. I could possibly live in Riften, but that's by a lake of course. It's just not the same thing. Also, Markarth is probably the city that impressed me most game-design wise, although I wouldn't like to live there. I'd feel too closed in.

Yep and that's why I'm patiently waiting for a proper version. That clip is apparently the highlights of what the designers at Bethesda were able to accomplish with the Creation Kit during the last week of final testing. I figure the main reason there's no horse combat at the moment is the amount of extra combat / critical kill animations that would need to be rendered to support all the weapons. Though for myself I just want to be able to shoot arrows from the saddle, nothing fancy.
As for the mouse lag - wired or wireless? I'm assuming you've tried all the standard fixes, updated drivers, dropped the visual quality (especially v-sync and AA), there's also mention of 'hidden' .ini files that are saved within the user profile and not just in the game directory. |

Qeeky as hell . But.. aren't we Skyrim players bit geeky aren't we :P?
Markarth, nope, because guards (if you've investigated enough you see a nice pile of **** there) & forsworn. Riften, hell no. Because Thieves Guild. Well I'm a member of it, but if i were a civilian. So.. Falkreath and Solitude seem decent enough.
