Haha, yeah, I went through like the first week playing the game without magic, and I then saw something related to Mage, and I thought I hadn't unlocked it yet, well then again I hadn't even pressed the damn B button. (Xbox 360)

By far one of the greatest games I have ever played, along with Bioshock and Fallout...

But how does one start the Thieves Guild quest, Vex just tells me to piss off.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I've got it. It's a classic!

The loading screens actually really annoyed me. One of the first ones I got after the tutorial was about the Falmer, and the model was of one as well. So thanks Bethesda, I don't get to find the Falmer myself, because you've already told me they're in the game and shown me what they look like.

Blessing and a curse... Had I known some of the things the loading screen was saying when I first started playing, I would have done better. lol...
For some reason, I get the "Sweet Mother, Sweet Mother" Dark Brotherhood quote in probably about 75% of my loading screens, so I probably still haven't seen all of the loading screens yet.

Go to the Bee and the Barb in Riften and look around for Brynjolf. Sometimes he's right outside, too. Talk to him and he'll give you a quest. Do it, then you'll start the Thieves Guild quests.

I don't think anybody has discussed the graphics and the world detail on here (if you have then my apologies) Anyways, the most impressive thing about Skyrim for me are the beauty of the landscape and the textures of the terrain along with all the random characters that you run into, I actually spend a fair amount of time just exploring the immediate terrain.

I've always been put off by games that had boatloads of pointless side quests, but in Skyrim they are just as enjoyable as the main quest and in some cases even more so. The world captures the fantasy epic perfectly.

I find my main problem when playing is still trying to decide whether to play in first or third person perspective (as at the moment I keep changing) most old hand gamers tend to play in first person based on the you tube vids that I've seen, I guess both modes have their pros and cons.

I play almost exclusively in third person. Right now I'm in no state of mind to justify it, but I have reasons for why I think third person is the only way to truly play a game. Which annoyed the hell out of me in the other Beth RPGs as their third person camera was entirely useless for anything except vanity.

At first I was playing pretty much exclusively in 3rd person, but lately I've been doing basically half/half. In battle, I always play 3rd person. Also, when traversing terrain outdoors, it's 3rd person. Otherwise, in towns and indoors, I like to be in 1st person as it's less confusing with your character out of the way, and it's better to talk to people and interact with items in 1st person.

So both.

This is one of my major complaints too. Some of the enemies would have been a lot scarier if I hadn't already seen pictures. Especially Hagravens.
