What I liked most in Return of the Living Dead was that they asked a zombie why they eat brains.

WARNING! There's gore in the vid below.

That's such a great movie in general. Speaking of talking zombies, I love this part (no idea why this video has been recolored):

Return of the Living Dead is an amazingly fun film. One of my favorites. Like how they make the zombies more bad ass, adding a new dimension to them. Need to pick that movie up.

Talking of Return Of The Living Dead has anyone seen part 3? It's a departure in terms of it's serious nature but it's definitely one to watch as it's part love story, part rites of passage and of course there is some great gore. Brian Yuzna directed it who also produced Re-animator.

Yeah, from what I remember Part III was an alright film, not on the level of the first one, but an improvement over the second one, which is probably the worst of the series (well, not counting any that have come after III. Have not watched them, but I am sure they are not that great, just DTV level stuff).

Brian Yuzna isn't my favorite director, from what I have seen by him, none of it was that special. Though Bride of Re-Animator was decent I suppose. "Society" was alright too, not something I would watch again, but is a curiosity. But his other movies are pretty lame, like "The Dentist" and crap.

I've only seen the first Return of the Living Dead, but I got the whole series in my movie library .. Just waiting for that evening when I'm in the mood. I want to watch them chronologically, so I know the supposedly lackluster second movie is the one I have to look forward to.
