Default Begotten

As you can tell by my avatar, I am an avid fan of the Elias Merhige's film Begotten. All I can find online discussion/forum-wise are conservative hate speeches and gore obsessed scene kids talking about how they wish this movie was in color so they could see how red the blood was.
Anyway, are there any fans out there who love this movie as much as I do?

its good for what it is i suppose.....

great first watch....unsettling, interesting retelling of the death and rebirth of god and christ

but underneath everything badly done shock film and boring upon second viewing

still the first time i saw it i was very impressed and would still suggest anybody to watch it

love the concept of "festering flesh on bone"

My friend and I watched this when we were 16, his older brother had given us it. I didn't particularly enjoy it then, but who knows. Might be worth another go.

Ja it's a good film, most can't see past the quality or pacing of the film (no offense if you didn't find yourself enjoying it). Has anyone seen the supposed sequel "Din of Celestial Birds"? I watched it once but I was in too distracting of an environment to develop an opinion on it, should I return to it or should I leave it be?
