Calvaire Frontier(s) Eyes Without A Face Audition Nosferatu Nil By Mouth Ladybird Ladybird Salo are not Horror films per se and inappropriate for Halloween but they are some of the scariest films I have seen regarding their subject matter and direction. I.E intelligently made. If you want to be grossed out then try: Tokyo Gore Police Bunman: The Untold Story Murder Set Pieces The Ebola syndrome Mermaid In A Manhole Schramm Nekromantik 2 and not forgetting films such as M LE CHIEN ANDALOU

I've not really got a good TV show to sit down and watch at the moment. This is disappointing. I've already watched the following all the way through / up to the present in the case of the few which are still on air:
Pushing Daisies Dead Like Me Reaper Arrested Development Twin Peaks Breaking Bad Boardwalk Empire The Walking Dead Louie Anything on Adult Swim - or animated on FOX It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia Any recommendations (on Netflix instant would be a major plus) for shows I may not have seen but would possibly like based on the above? As an aside, I have seen but don't really enjoy Weeds, Lost, or Law and Order-type shows.

I'm going to recommend you Green Wing: A blending of sketch comedy with drama, set in a hospital and featuring no medical storylines. Hilarious, politically incorrect, sexual and surreal. It takes an episode or two to settle into the smattering of characters and events, but beneath the absurdity, they're some of the most realistic and relatable characters I've seen on television.

Necrobump (this thread should be stickied).
I'm looking for some good horror films, preferably on the psychological end of things.

Jacob's Ladder (1990) Repulsion (1965) Session 9 (2001) The Changeling (1980) Peeping Tom (1960) Carnival of Souls (1962) The Last Man on Earth (1964) The Last Man on Earth is as much a sci-fi flick as it is a horror flick, but it definitely has a creepy psychological edginess to it. |
