E3 2011 is coming up pretty soon like next week.

What are you guys expecting to see at the show or think will be a surprise?

I'm pretty sure Nintendo is going to show off it's next Wii-esque system that I couldn't give two shits about.

Sony will probably try to show off a new PSP device possible a psp device that also doubles as a phone.

What I want to see from Nintendo is more 3DS games that really utilize the 3D of the system well but are actually good games more than just re-hash of N64 games.

Nintendo loves to play up the nostalgia factor so I'm pretty sure they will introduce some old favorites like they normally do but it's now in 3-D!! :rolleyes:

I'd like to see some more footage of FF13 versus. It seems so underground and doesn't get talked about too much.

PSP Phone? Have you not seen the Xperia Play? The NGP is what I want to see more of, what I've seen has been orgasmic!

Meh, I wouldn't get that anyways. I don't like Sony in the handheld market.

I DON'T want a new Xbox. Not after I spent all that money and upgraded my 360.

I think you have another 3 years or so til you have to upgrade again

unless they break out some type of 3-D technology related x-box system which I could see them doing but around 2014 another one should be coming out.

They are most likely going to focus on more motion control type games.

Mixed feelings about that. On the one hand, I'd like motion control to continue to develop and get more interesting. On the other, the motion control we have now pretty much blows.

I've found a few that were fun on the PS3. Being that its first development software i'm hoping for a vast improvement, but i don't find it to be as horrible as some others do. The WII is total crap however.

I actually find the Wii a lot better as far as motion control goes. Yet to play a game on Kinect that wows me, but I haven't played many.

I find the WII inferior in every way to the PS3. It doesn;t calibrate properly and its response is slow. Also the non HD graphics are horrendous and child like. I have enjoyed playing it at parties for ****s and giggles but its not even close to the ps3 move.

The experience I had with the Move was awful, but it may have just been the game.
And the Wii has a shartload of crapware but it has some really flipping amazing titles, too. Elebits, Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2, New Super Mario Bros., that new Donkey Kong game.. Heck even The Coduit wasn't a bad shooter.

I agree some of the move games are utter crap, but the unit itself is a far better motion player. And i also agree that the WII has some really fun games to play and Mario can only be had on it, so its a very desirable game to still buy. I am just not happy that they did not go hd graphics and their response with the motion play is pretty atrocious game to game. And the Donkey Kong does kick ass.

I better hear some details on Grand Theft Auto V and not some other dumbass game Rockstar is repping. Enough of this L.A. Noire, etc., **** to keep us occupied between GTAs. Just come out with San Andreas 2 already.


That's probably because FF hasn't been good for 10 years, as much as it pains me to admit it.

Glad to know that I wasn't the only one who enjoyed it.

I'm with djchameleon about Final Fantasy Versus XIII. I'm looking forward to more footage of it.

Stoked for what Bioware/Bethesda have in store for Mass Effect 3 and Skyrim.

Also in a perfect universe we'd also get an official announcement on Kingdom Hearts 3 and/or GTA5, but I'm not holding my breath.

They could walk in, grab the mic, say SKYRIM AND MASS EFFECT 3 AND RAGE, drop the mic, and walk out, and I'm still buying all three.

That's what's annoying. Kingdom Hearts 2 came out 6 years ago, it's time for a damn sequel. Handheld expansions don't cut it. They should have started KH3 years ago.

I've read some reviews of the leaked Deus Ex build, its getting nothing but positive reviews. The length is really encouraging, 10-12 hours people are saying, and this is an unfinished game!! I'd assume there will be more details of it at E3.

There's already two DLC out. And then two more coming out in the next two months.

A few from memory that I liked from E3 are Brother in Arms: Furious 4, Overstrike, Prototype 2, NeverDead and Tomb Raider.

There are plenty more but those are just off the top.

I feel like Sony has had the best press conference so far but Nintendo is doing theirs today.

i've always wanted to go to one of these shows, but i can't be arsed to pay an expensive flight ticket to just see some new games

If you were with the local press , you could possibly get a press pass but it's not open to the public as far as like buying a ticket to go to the conferences.

yeah you missed Multiplayer footage of Kid Icarus the new Super Mario 3D game and the Mario Kart one as well.

really underwhelmed by the wiiu. i don't think it will do well.

The demonstrations they had of its visual capabilities were videos of Xbox 360 and PS3 games... rather than showing anything the Wii U can actually do

Nintendo Wii U demo games shown today were actually Xbox 360 and PS3 versions | This is my next...

Even moreso when you consider that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are not equals in terms of what they can do, are Nintendo saying the Wii U is equal to the PS3? Is it equal to the 360? Or are they just saying they have made a Wii HD and changed the control system to be more DS-like than Wii like.
