yeah, I wasn't feeling the Wii U either. During the press conference as well, it wasn't presented in the best way either. I bet most people were confused as hell by the time they left there.

Even moreso when you consider that the PS3 and Xbox 360 are not equals in terms of what they can do, are Nintendo saying the Wii U is equal to the PS3? Is it equal to the 360? Or are they just saying they have made a Wii HD and changed the control system to be more DS-like than Wii like.
i woudn't stress this part. All those games were built with the xbox 360 and ps3 dev kits, they're not going to build a new engine for the wiiu.

I'm going to guess it's slightly more powerful then the 360 or ps3, just so they can advertise it as so. That being said i still think sony's "cell" processor has room to grow, and i believe neither company is planning on releasing a new console anytime soon.

I'm feeling the Wii U, but I'm scared of how much it will cost. Then again, the Vita only costs $249, so miracles can happen.

I'm disappointed there was no mention of FFXIII Versus.

Anything else you guys are disappointed that they didn't show?

I also wanted to see more of Metal Gear Solid Rising. That teaser trailer was awesome last year and then this year nada.

Was interested in seeing some more of Battlefield 3 and Resistance 3, but not much was seen or heard of. Two games i am salivating about playing shortly.

Wow cool i missed these somehow. I would assume they are highly anticipated enough to warrant at least talking about them. Can't wait to kill some Khymera.

BF3 was nominated for best FPS at E3, so I'm pretty sure it was a hot item.
You can see the vids on the BF3 site, as well as responses from folks who played the demo.

I think my problem is I did not go direct to the e3 or bf3 site. I was looking via google news which did not have the updates. Thanks for the info, These are basically the two games i have a ton of interest in playing.

BF3 is the only thing I'm really looking forward to for the rest of the year. I've had it on pre-order for ever, and finally they have a definitive release date... Oct 25th!
I'm fairly sure that when it drops, I'll be on multiplayer nonstop for about a year.

I wanna play Kinect Star Wars. The graphics look like ****, but I just really wanna feel like I'm using the force.

Lots of good-looking rpgs coming out this year and next. Don't remember any particular names besides Dragon something and an LOTR game, but they all look amazing... definite WoW killers, lol.

are you mad? you obviously are NOT a zelda fan. All of the zelda fan boys would flip a wig if that happened. zelda fans don't like change. When the animated cartoon looking zelda came out and was different they whined and complained.

zelda's formula is not one that you want to mess with too much or you will piss off the whole fan base.

not they haven't.

I wasn't sure so I just double checked and I found an article stating that they weren't going to announce that game at E3

They must have just scrapped the original episode 3 and started from scratch with a whole new engine.

It's been too long, they should at least have some screen shots or something
