I have not seen it but very surprised that it is directed by Kenneth Branagh. It does give me a morsel of hope that it is not a dumb fest.

This bastard took the most important myths of Northern Europe and turned it into a limp wristed liberal fairy tale. Mind, these myths were of such potency that the medieval saints of the region weren't running around dying for people's sins; they were slaying dragons. ...and this jackass produces a sanitized, PC, version - complete with Affirmative Action casting. Fantastic. Black northern gods......

It's pissing on myths that have been disseminated around the world in such quantity, that it is feasible to say they are single most important mythos in the history of mankind. It is a politically motivated assault on heritage.
