I respectfully disagree. It was a riot in that theatre. That slow motion "nooooooooooo" brought the lulz. But you're right, watching this by yourself would probably suck.
|
Four Lions by an absolute mile.
I haven't enjoyed a cinema-going experience as much as that for a long, long time. |
Definitely Inception, with The Kings Speech a close second but Black Swan isn't out here in the UK yet.
|
Inception was one of the most enjoyable movies I've seen in a while.
|
I still need to see 127 hours though, I heard it was pretty good.
|
Black Swan.
Definitely even better than I expected, and that was going in with a really high regard for Aronofsky's work. |
True Grit only comes here in February.
They never show any Arofonovsky here so Black Swan I'll have to watch on DVD. |
The King's Speech. I like feel good, optimistic movies.
Plus Colin Firth's performance is as good as an acting performance can get. |
I like Inception. It really shows that not all summer movies have to be dumb, remakes, sequels, prequels, or squeakuels.
True Grit, a western by the Coen Brothers is like a Beatles song being performed by God. Even though I'm getting sick of Boston based movies, The Town was excellent. |
I've only seen six of the films up there, but my favourite was most definitely Four Lions and I'm keen to see Machete at some point.
