I was thinking of making this thread, I didn't think many people would join in though.
Great minds etc. Anyway... Christoper Nolan Inception > Memento > The Dark Knight > The Prestige > Batman Begins > Following > Insomnia Darren Aronofsky Black Swan > Requiem For A Dream > The Wrestler > Pi > The Fountain Stanley Kubrick A Clockwork Orange > 2001: A Space Odyssey > The Shining > Dr. Strangelove > Barry Lyndon > Full Metal Jacket > Eyes Wide Shut. (I still need to finish off watching Kubrick's filmography.) David Lynch Mulholland Drive > Blue Velvet > Eraserhead > The Elephant Man > Inland Empire > Lost Highway. Quentin Tarantino Pulp Fiction > Reservoir Dogs > Kill Bills > Inglourious Basterds > Jackie Brown > Death Proof (Personal preference, I actually think Inglourious Basterds is better than the Kill Bills on a technical level but I love them movies.) Danny Boyle Trainspotting > Shallow Grave > 28 Days Later > Slumdog Millionaire > 127 Hours > Sunshine > The Beach > Millions > A Life Less Ordinary. |

Great idea!
Martin Scorsese Taxi Driver > The King of Comedy > Mean Streets > Raging Bull > Cape Fear > The Last Temptation of Christ > The Departed > Bringing Out the Dead > The Aviator > Casino > Gangs of New York > The Color of Money Goodfellas, The Age of Innocence and New York, New York I haven't seen in ages or almost totally forgotten them, so I don't feel like I could rate them. David Lynch Lost Highway > Eraserhead > Mulholland Dr. > Inland Empire > Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me > The Elephant Man > Blue Velvet > The Straight Story > Wild at Heart > Dune The only bad film is Dune. Alfred Hitchcock Psycho > Rope > Vertigo > Rear Window > Frenzy > Rebecca > Shadow of a Doubt > North by Northwest > Notorious > Dial M for Murder > The Lady Vanishes > The 39 Steps > The Birds > The Man Who Knew Too Much (the older version) > Lifeboat > Marnie > Spellbound > Torn Curtain > Jamaica Inn Wow, I've seen plenty, but I feel like I still haven't seen some possibly great ones like: Saboteur, Suspicion, I Confess, Strangers on a Train. I have DVDs of his two earliest films, 'The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog' and 'Blackmail', but I still haven't seen them and they're supposed to be really good. Yeah, Hitch is one of my favorite directors, if you couldn't tell Continuing..... Stanley Kubrick 2001: A Space Odyssey > The Shining/A Clockwork Orange (can't choose) > Eyes Wide Shut > Dr. Strangelove > Lolita > Full Metal Jacket > Spartacus Don't remember 'Barry Lyndon' that well. I have to see it again sometime. And I really want to see 'The Killing'. Christopher Nolan Memento > The Prestige > Batman Begins/The Dark Knight > Insomnia > Inception I have yet to see 'Following' Steven Spielberg Close Encounters of the Third Kind > Duel > Empire of the Sun > Raiders of the Lost Ark > E.T. > Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom > Jaws > The Color Purple > Schindler's List > Minority Report > Saving Private Ryan > Jurassic Park > Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade > A.I. Artificial Intelligence > Catch Me If You Can > The Terminal > War of the Worlds > Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull > Hook I love Spielberg's cheesiness!

he was in the movie but it was such a minor role, I didn't mean to put it in the list. I haven't seen Adaption.
So I don't know about his performance in that.
