I watched The Town not a week before his death and noticed how gaunt he appeared in the film, but had no idea he was dying.

I was genuinely shocked when I saw the news. He's that kind of actor who I instantly recognize when I see on screen, but can never remember his name or what movies he's been in.

He soo overacted in the town, it was kinda annoying.

I haven't seen enough of his other work to judge him fairly though.

For real? Im very sad for his family, that guy was a really excellent actor, though the last thing I saw him in was Solomon Kane I think which was fun but not exactly the high watermark of acting

RIP Pete.
