Post Favorite Music Related Movies/ Or Yet To Come

Whats your favorite music related movie? It can be fact or fiction doesnt matter. Also are there any on certain artists or bands you would like to see made? Just an idea I thought id share. For example one of my favs of all time is Almost Famous. Though I would really like to see a Stevie Ray Vaughan movie made. Enjoy!!!

Forgot about Almost Famous... Great movie, haven't seen it in awhile. I'm a rap guy, and I really liked Notorious which came out like 2 years ago. I thought the guy playing Biggie was awesome, that can't be an easy role to fit into, and the guy sounded great on the mic too. It's more of a documentary type thing, but Tupac: Resurrection is a MUST SEE for anyone into rap, or anyone interested in Tupac at all. I learned so much about Pac from that, it was incredible.

Anyone heard of the movie 'Once'? It's got the lead singer of The Frames. It's fantastic.

24 Hour Party People is probably my favorite music related movie. It's funny, it's heartrending, and it has great music. What more can you ask for?

I like the warning label "This film contains sex, drugs, and rock&roll". Three ingredients for a good movie most the time.

When it comes to my favourite, it's a two-way tie between these little nuggets;

Followed closely by Walk the Line and said 24 Hour Party People.

Dude, check out Tupac: Resurrection FOR SURE. I watched it as a fan of rap (never a huge Pac fan though) and was blown away by 1) How well it was put together. 2) How many rare footage videos and interviews they were able to find. and 3) How much I learned about 2Pac.

I promise that after you watch it, you'll have totally different views on him.

Closer? The only Closer I know of is the one with Natalie Portman in, and that's nothing to do with music, unless there's another one? Sure you don't mean Control? The one about Ian Curtis? If so that's probably mine too, or 24 Hour Party People.
