Game Controllers
Ah! We haven't got a thread on those.
Just bought myself a fresh racing wheel for the price of a second hand car. I just couldn't resist: It'll take a couple of days to arrive. Can't wait! Apart from this, I use: A logitech chillstream This keyboard, altough I needed a usb keyboard for another purpose, so it has (temporarily, I guess) Been replaced by This and I use This mouse. Which I still think is the best mouse ever made. I've got a white and a black one. The white one actually has a dymo on it saying 'muis', which means 'mouse'. Had that for years now. Yeah. Gotta love your mouse. So, what controllers do you use to play your videogames?

good grief, you must like racing games!
i've got a wired 360 controller i use for everything, but i'm planning on expanding soon. i do a LOT of emulation of old game consoles on my PC, so i want to pick up a pair of proper SNES controllers and a pair of N64 controllers. you can get 2 player adapters for both that let you run them through USB. i figure these two should cover most systems. Genesis is a bit tricky with its 6 button pad, but the N64 controller has enough extras that i could map them out without too much trouble. the 360 pad works well for modern windows games, but its d-pad is rubbish for things like Mario or Metroid. it's just not responsive enough... oh i'd like a nice plain joystick too for older systems like Atari, but that's not priority right now...

I like driving, but petrol is 9 dollars per gallon.
This has a H shifter and a clutch. Gets pretty close . @ Noise: I Always buy the original console when it's like... 7 or 8 years old. They're really cheap then and so are the games. But Emu's are nice.

Basic mouse/keyboard set up for PC games (looking into getting a Tablet for strategy games). Also have an adapter that let's me plug in my N64 Controllers to PC - I have a romulator for N64 games so it's awesome!
Wireless 360 controllers for Xbox and Kinect. And the standard white with classic attachments for Wii. |

Yah, I kind of figured that would happen.
Emulators, of course. And Emu's are cool and bloody fast. I got bitten by a Camel one time. He was next to an Emu. I prefer the Emu now. My goodness I'm offtopic.

i would love to have original consoles, but it's like music - if you want a big collection, digital is so much more convenient!
one torrent with all NES games, another with all SMS, a third with all GBA... just click and go

I've got a MadCatz Fightstick which I use for Super Street Fighter IV on 360 and for emulation purposes, and it works great.
