Ya TopGear is a comedy show, so there's no reason to overreact to the political jokes. You can tell their not serious because they constantly contradict themselves.

And I'm with s_k on the not caring what Hammond looks like. It's hard not to notice he's embarrassing himself by trying a bit too hard, but I just think the show is funny, and the cars/driving/events are entertaining to watch.

If you want journalism that's disgraceful, tune into FOX or Oprah or something.

I absolutely hate this programme.

It has nothing to do with not being interested in automobiles either. It's the fact that I have to pay over £140 a year for a TV license that is ONLY for the privilege of funding the BBC and when they announced cutbacks due to the recession (how does that work for them? The amount of revenue they receive stays the same or in fact increases as every single household with A T.V HAS to have a license by law) they dropped many programmes due to lack of funds yet they don't mind funding a programme with a bunch of midlife crisis men to smash up cars and talk codswallop 95% of the time is dumbfounding.

If it was a privately funded cable programme then I could understand but I shouldn't have to pay for this when other more fulfilling programmes are scrapped.
