Same here. Actually, that's the case with almost everything for me.

About a week ago, I just went through and entered for every single book I thought was interesting, probably about fifty different giveaways, and apparently won nine books!

I'm most excited that I won a copy of Chuck Klosterman's new book; I saw it at the bookstore, noticed it was fiction, but wasn't about to shell out $25 when I still needed to eat. The copy I actually won is paperback, so it'd not have been $25, but still. It's just now being released in paperback.
I'm doing this now.
Only thing is, a LOT of these books are (or seem like) beach reads.
I don't mind one every once in a while, though.

And many of them are like fantasies trying to be the next Twilight. At least, that's what it feels like when I read the descriptions.

Did anybody else feel this way?

That sounds really worthwhile, actually. I'll have to get in to that if the odds are that good.

I just entered for the ones I could see myself reading mainly, and got three of 'em in the mail today. Two of the ones I've gotten are signed and from small publishers, two are advanced reader's copies with no price or anything, and I got my Chuck Klosterman!

I just picked a bunch of stuff that looked like it wasn't complete trash, and at worst my library will have a few new donations.

Bump. Has anyone noticed in the last couple of months that random people who appear to have joined years ago like a random update you make, then you go to their page and it turns out they're just spammers trying to get you to click on their profile link which goes to some kind of random porn site. Like, who goes to a book site and promotes porn?
