Let's revive this thing.

I'll start us off. Two long, well-recieved 1998 WWII films.

Terrence Malick's THE THIN RED LINE

vs.

Steven Spielberg's SAVING PRIVATE RYAN

I enjoyed both films. SPR is just so well acted and Spielberg really nailed the scenic shots and I like the authentic feel of this movie. I gotta vote Saving Private Ryan. Yay though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Barry Pepper was incredible and Tom Sizemore was so coked out he was almost believable in this film. LOL

Saving Private Ryan 1
Thin Red Line 0
