Oooh, tough call, not because I love both but I think they are both just fine, but I'll give my vote to Iron Man because I think his time in the cave is better than any other sequence in Spider Man 2...

Jacob's Ladder for me. It's just a pioneer in this genre, and its got some of the awesomest trips. I love The Machinist, but I always felt it was like a mix of Memento and Fight Club, more than a one of a kind film.
