Mmm...Matt Dillon...This is tough, I like both of these films. Since I can't decide, I'll go with a somewhat shallow reason. Mickey Rourke, in the 80s, always prevails :)

I'm gonna start the voting, as Gattaca is one of my favourite films of all time.

Gattaca was really, really good, and I thought AI was just ok.

Gattaca is great, although I liked A.I. quite a bit. I wasn't overly critical of it like some people. I guess I have a soft spot for Spielberg and his sentimentality.

Did anyone else notice Ethan Hawke smokes in GATTACA? How absurd is the idea for his character to smoke when he has so many physical limitations to overcome?
