Control 2
24 Hour Party People 1 I adore both, 24HPP showed what it was like in Manchester around that time, even if it was amplified. It was made up of rumours and urban myths which as Eric said - fun journey. But a film doesn't have to be 'fun' for it to be better, Control meant more. I thought Sam Riley did an outstanding job as Ian, really emotional and it's a film that means a lot. |

Control was OK but a bit morose and a bit self important.
I also think Corbijn was the worst possible person to make a movie about Curtis seeing the guy virtually hero worships him. Despite being pretty much a comedy I get the impression that 24hr PP was the more realistic portrayal, and the better movie. 2 - 2

Ok that's 39 seconds out of a two hour movie.
And?
