Hm... this isn't that difficult. I enjoyed Trainspotting well enough, but Pulp Fiction's amazing.

Pulp Fiction: 6
Trainspotting: 2

Edit: Maybe it would be a good idea to have an index of the winners somewhere? If someone wanted to use this thread as a reference, it'd be easier than wading through pages.

Yeah, no Europe vs America debate plz. America > Europe when it comes to making films, so sh.

I didn't mean it in any negative fashion towards a British film, I really enjoyed Trainspotting. I would just be surprised to see an American vote for it over Pulp Fiction because it's just so deeply steeped in British culture. I personally don't have nearly as much to relate to...

If Prude visited this thread, she would've voted for Trainspotting. I guess that's your American vote for now.

British film making is good, although I'm inclined to prefer American because I've seen a lot more American films but anyone that says British cinema is better than American is just being patriotic. I think I voted for Trainspotting because of that reason, and the reason you said - I could relate to a lot of the dialogue/references/culture. But on reflection I think I do actually prefer Pulp Fiction, it really is a brilliant brilliant film.

I'm surprised by how little votes there are for Trainspotting. This movies amazing. One of my favourite of all time, but I also agree Pulp Fiction is a great movie. Alas, another vote for Trainspotting. I love Ewan McGregor
