A film for each year you are alive
I remember the 'An album a year for each year you are alive' thread to be really good, and I thought why not for films? There's a lot of film nerds on here who probably can remember the years films were released so I thought it might be a good idea to see people's lists. I know films by year aren't as well documented as albums, but it's worth a go.
91: Silence of the Lambs 92: Reservoir Dogs 93: True Romance 94: Pulp Fiction 95: Seven 96: Trainspotting 97: The Full Monty 98: American History X 99: American Beauty/Fight Club 00: Requiem For A Dream 01: Mulholland Drive 02: Catch Me If You Can 03: Lost In Translation 04: Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind 05: Walk The Line 06: The Departed 07: No Country For Old Men 08: Slumdog Millionare 09: Inglorious Basterds 10: Shutter Island (thus far, but it will probably be Inception soon.) |

I'll go with Good Night and Good Luck 06: Babel 07: There Will Be Blood 08: Man on Wire 09: Inglourious Basterds, even though I think Funny People is vastly underrated. 10: Probably Shutter Island, that's a safe one. |
