With technology's advancement, high quality film and footage can be shot, edited, and produced by any shlub with a passion. Because of this, documentaries have become far more common than they might have in the past.
Small bands of interested parties armed with a camcorder and a Macbook Pro can now compete, with the help of internet and viral marketing, with the big boys and show healthy results. My hope for this thread is that we can post clips of our favorites and discuss them. I'm actually revitalizing my Netflix account primarily because of this genre and cannot wait to get my hands on these things.
