The worst thing about TNA is their booking is terribly inconsistent. They have a hell of a lot of talent but it's like they don't know what to do with any of them. So you have talented people like Samoa Joe, Desmond Wolfe & the MCM Guns doing nothing for weeks on end, Christopher Daniels leaving or playing ridiculous gimmicks like curry man & suicide instead of being a main eventer. Meanwhile you have people like Rob Terry, Hernandez, Matt Morgan & Eric Young being constantly forced down your throat despite the fact nobody really cares about them. And that's not to mention the instant pushes given to anyone who ever set foot in a WWE ring (RVD, Hardy, Anderson) although I'll let them off with Pope who seems to have found a good identity & gimmick in TNA. I have to give TNA credit, the product is a massive improvement over what it was a year ago but they still have a very long way to go.

I saw you mentioned MCMG as some of the wrestlers doing nothing, so I'm guessing you haven't been watching in recent weeks. MCMG and Beer Money have had some of the best matches of the past few years in the past month. If TNA can continue to book matches like this, they could potentially have near-WWE RAW ratings by next year. Also, I love Matt Morgan. Imo he's the best wrestling heel on tv right now.

I was just watching it with a few friends last night and we were all thinking "Wow this has improved a ton since the start." Rick Flair getting bitch slapped and undressed of coarse was just an added bonus. What I want to see though is a Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar fight. He started in wrestling and he should go back to it after he's done in the MMA/UFC.

They do nothing for weeks on end to the point where they even make a storyline about it which is dropped as quickly as it starts, then they're made number one contenders, and then they go back to doing nothing even though they were supposed to be the number one contenders while TNA indulge Kevin Nash & his over-the-hill cronies Hall & Waltman. When that doesn't work out suddenly the MCMG's are bought back and given the titles and all of a sudden they're the best & most important tag team in TNA. Same with Samoa Joe. He's a heel doing his nation of violence thing. One week he gets abducted. A huge deal is made out of it and he disappears for weeks. He suddenly comes back as a face with the whole warpaint/ nation of violence thing dropped and the abduction angle is never ever mentioned again. This is the kind of crap Heyman would get rid of if he was bought in. Quote:
I don't even think they should be trying to compete with WWE anyway. WWE have made the word 'Wrestling' redundant in their product it's 'Sports Entertainment' now, not to mention their insistence on being a PG rated product. TNA should focus on gaining long time fans that hate this direction & want something different, or younger fans who have become bored with the current crop of WWE farm schooled 'superstars' with identikit movesets & zero charisma & boring matches. They have the ECW vets in their locker room, they should look at what ECW did in the 90s. Gave people honest exciting wrestling of a multitude of styles without silly insulting gimmicks & great storylines. TNA need not to copy that, but adapt that idea to a 2010 audience and come up with their own style. Quote:

MCMG vs. Beer Money Series for the TNA World Tag Team Championships
So I've had an obsession with these two teams over the past month. I've always loved Beer Money, but MCMG are starting to win me over. Whichever team you favor, you gotta admit this is a fantastic series. If you haven't seen this yet, brace yourself.
Match 0 (it wasn't part of the current series, but is what started it):

It's now being reported on several news sites that Jerry Lynn might not make the show due to back injury. He recently pulled out of an indy show due to the injury. This will be a blow to the show if RVD and Lynn can't wrestle one another. They are the two who can still deliver a quality match. If Lynn isn't able to go, not sure who the replacement will be.
There are also rumors of Paul Heyman appearing, but they could just be rumors. If he were to come to TNA at all, tonight would be the night to do it.
