I like Russell Crowe's acting, for the most part it's really good. He just has a bit of a temper. Although I can't stand Mel Gibson.

Robin Hood reviews at Metacritic.com

62 on metacritic, it's decent.
Hollywood reporter gave it a solid score, i like their reviews.

I read that originally the script focused on a cop assigned to catch robin hood, making robin hood more of the villain. That sounded pretty cool, but I'm not surprised Hollywood revised it.

That sounds more like a film I'd actually bother paying to see. Typical Hollywood.

So, nah, not really fussed about this one. What I've heard of it's far from convincing too.

Are you sure? Prince Of Thieves was an absolute crock! Errol Flynnes Robin Hood was OTT but it was a great film even though it was completely inaccurate historically.

The best retelling of Robin Hood was the U.K T.V series 'Robin Of Sherwood' which had a soundtrack by Clannad and a sense of realism and a religious undertone that was suggested rather than rammed down the throat.

Shame on Ridley Scott if it turn's out poor.
