I remember when Teeth was released in the cinema, I remember thinking that sounds fucking horrific. Vagina teeth, eww.

So I didn't see it, I thought it was a horror and I'm not a horror fan. Is it more funny than scary then?

I don't care what genre you call it. I just know I was terrified of vaginas for a few weeks after I saw it.

No thank you :D, I've got about 4 downloaded. Although I'd be interested to know your personal David Lynch favourites. I watched Mulholland Drive last night and loved it.

You know you can watch movies online without downloading first, right?
Might be a good option for you if you want to make sure you like something before you "acquire" it.
If you need any suggestions, let me know.

Also, just make sure your internet provider turns a blind eye to this sort of thing.

Check out a movie called Teeth, it's about a goodie goodie Christian girl who finds out she has a special "power" and hilarity ensues.

That's a great movie right there. Fun fact: it was directed by the son of pop artist Roy Lichtenstein.

A blind eye to what, bandwidth usage or something that can't be justified by currently illegal monitoring of communication?
Fortunately you actually pay for the first option.

Got some suggestions on movies similar to those of Tarkovsky / Béla Tarr?

I watched The Return by Andrei Zvyagintsev recently and it reminds me of their work. Recommended.

Yeah, it'd make my life a whole lot easier if I were to watch online. But a few times when I've tried the quality bothered me, so I just prefer to torrent and then do my bit by buying a few DVDs that are my favourites or whatever. I'm just into the habbit of torrenting now. Plus I've never had a problem with them.
Thanks, I'll be sure to nag you for suggestions as and when I think of them ;)

If you stream DivX video, it downloads as the video buffers. Sometimes it's a little quicker and the quality is not too shabby when you play the movie later on. Just make sure you have the DivX web player: DivX Plus Web Player – Plugin to stream & embed web videos | DivX.com

When someone says dark comedies I immediately think of American Psycho. Hilarious and disturbing. Just brilliant.

Try Aleksandr Sokurov "Mother and Son", "Russian Ark",...Russian Ark is famous as a film shot completely in one take. It's a great film especially if you're interested in history and art (it's shot in Hermitage Museum).
