Igby Goes Down is definitely a must.

It's finished downloading, it'll be one for later. Unless I feel in a David Lynch mood, in which case it'll be tomorrow.

Unless I decide to watch films all night and sleep all day tomorrow, then it'll be both.

Dark comedies are winner, there just aren't enough good ones about. (That I know about anyway.)

^ If I remember one, I'll state it on here.
Need a David Lynch recommendation?

No thank you , I've got about 4 downloaded. Although I'd be interested to know your personal David Lynch favourites. I watched Mulholland Drive last night and loved it.

Well my favourite Lynch movies are: Eraserhead - Mulholland Dr. - Lost Highway.

The series Twin Peaks is a favourite too. I love Blue Velvet as a guilty pleasure, not as an awesome movie. His short films are awesome, you watch The Alphabet and The Grandmother.

I guess if I watch INLAND EMPIRE, I'd love it, but I don't want to watch his complete works, as this guy has stopped doing films. So I think that's why I still haven't watched this one.

Edit: I forgot to mention The Elephant Man, also a must.

more dark comedies to consider:

Wonder Boys (very awesome)
Little Miss Sunshine
I Heart Huckabees

these ones are a bit odd so watch at your own risk:

Drawing Flies
But I'm A Cheerleader

Mulholland Drive was brilliant. I've got Blue Velvet, Lost Highway and Elephant Man on my list to watch next. If they're as good as Mulholland Drive I'll be very happy.

I've seen Little Miss Sunshine, I didn't realise that was a dark comedy. Apart from the corpse scene.

I'll definitely give Wonder Boys and I Heart Huckabees a watch, I've heard of I Heart Huckabees but never got round to watching it. Never heard of Wonder Boys though. Thanks for your suggestions.

Check out a movie called Teeth, it's about a goodie goodie Christian girl who finds out she has a special "power" and hilarity ensues.
