Get the fuck outta here!
I also cant stand Lenry Henry or Victoria Wood. Especially when Wood is higher than Noble and Moran. And Chubby Brown shouldn't be allowed to class himself as a stand up comedian. Stand up prick maybe but not a comedian. I agree with CunningStunt about Gervais. I think he's very underrated by many as a stand up comedian. |

Happy about Billy Connolly being at the top. Legend.

Lenny Henry is chronically unfunny, and the same for Russel Brand (which is weird because he's pretty damn hilarious when he's in a room with Noel Fielding). I hate Peter Kay too. Shame about the lack of Denis Leary on that list as well. Otherwise, I can't say a lot against it.
My personal top 10; 1. Eddie Izzard 2. Bill Hicks 3. Richard Pryor 4. Stewart Lee 5. Dylan Moran 6. Frankie Boyle 7. Ricky Gervais 8. George Carlin 9. Bill Bailey 10. Rhod Gilbert |

Good to see Rhod Gilbert, Dylan Moran and Ricky Gervais on that list Bulldog. I cant really argue with anyt of it bar one cause im not a Frankie Boyle fan.
I like Peter Kay but how I remember him in the long run comes down to hs next tour. If he doesnt come up with any new materal than thats it. And I didnt even notice Russel Brand initially. I would have bitched about him first before anyone else. Cant stand that guy. |

Well, I'll admit it's mainly for those god-awful charity singles that I despise Peter Kay. I guess he's alright as a comic. Boltonians absolutely worship him - he's like a folk legend around here.
As for Frankie Boyle, I saw him in Aberdeen a few years ago, so I'm a bit biased there. Eddie Izzard gets the top spot for that Death Star canteen joke on its own by the way. |

Frankie Boyle is easily one of the greatest comedians alive right now. "Last year the pope met victims of sexual abuse at the hands of catholic priests. If I'd been fingered by a priest the last person I'd like to meet is the ultra priest 9,000. It's like fighting the end-of-level boss in a video game."

That could mean of two things. It could mean I lied and I am easly offended and therefore think that these comedians should be black listed and widely discredited.
Or it could mean that I think Chubby Brown and Frankie Boyle just happen to be **** stand up comedians. For the record I think Frankie Boyle is funny on Mock the Week. From the stand up ive seen though, ive only seem him recycle material that ive seen before and repeatedly insult his audience. |
