Stuff watching some pretty boy pretending to be Kurt Cobain in what's probably going to be some sensationalist watered down Hollywood crap.
I'll watch this instead thanks....

Yeah, in all likelyhood it will probably suck.
Does anyone know who is attached to direct it? |

there's absolutely no way in hell Pattinson would be seriously considered for the role aside from a money standpoint. the Twilight appeal alone runs so counter to everything Nirvana seemed to be about. as for The Doors movie. it's gotta mean something when Robbie Krieger flat out calls it great until the scene in the desert and then refers to the rest of the film as Oliver Stone's wet dream for Jim. |

if you've already decided it's going to suck what's the point of discussing the potential?
the issue with the casting is that ANYONE could play the role on the stage. that's what made Cobain into the anti-hero he was back in the day. the challenge will be finding someone who can play the part off stage, the person VERY few of us actually knew or were privy to as things were happening. not the blank filled persona society has created through his biographies since his passing. |

It's a hoax. Everybody has denied it.
I might be interested to see the film. Though I think i'd rather just play a Nirvana record. Far more enjoyable then what Urban said it'd probably be Although... if this did go through, who should direct it? I'd want the director to be an artistic original, which I think would be closer to the band's message, then somebody who'd treat it too much like a step-by-step recounting. Quentin Tarantino FTW! |

why stop there, why not get a Tarantino / M. Night Shyamalan combo happening. maybe in the obligatory twist ending Cobain ends up shooting Love. |

If Tarantino directed it, Kurt wouldn't commit suicide, he'd have someone shoot him. Which would be popular with some fans.. They'd claim it to be more real life.
David Fincher is confirmed as the directed though I'm sure.. |
