Robert Pattinson might play Kurt Cobain in a documentary

If Robert Pattinson proved himself to be a serious actor and not just the star of a moronic chick flick about vampires I think it'd be brilliant. But he REALLY doesn't seem like he has any acting ability to really be taken seriously..

The thing that convinced me was the suicide note. That last half has handwriting that is totally different from the first half's. He had enough heroin in his system to kill a horse. That alone would have killed him, let alone given him the coordination to shoot himself with a shotgun.

And the hotel incident is a whole other story...he OD'd on rufies. You forget everything that happened the day before. Who always had a load of rufies? Courtney.

I'm sure to someone who hasn't actually looked up all this stuff I sound like a crazed conspiracy theorist, but this is one of the few that I buy into. Everyone said Kurt was happy, loved spending time with his daughter, and was looking forward to making new music. Quite the opposite of a depressed guy who hates life.

Yeah seriously, maybe the guy can be semi half decent with the right motivation, but what I've seen of him in Twilight was pretty damn bad.

I've yet to see him exhibit any kind of abillity that makes me think he could handle the roles of people as complex and idiocentric as Dali and Cobain.

Aye, everyone has to start somewhere, if he starts playing a fairy and then has the ability to change people's perception then that'd be brilliant.

I'm so confident Gosling could take on the role. I mean, the guy can actually sing. Does anybody know if Pattinson can sing? I think Gosling is in a band and does music as a hobby.. he's the man for the job.

I think this Pattinson thing is just a rumour, Zack Efron was also being put forward for the role but that rumour disappeard.

Does anyone know when the film is meant to be coming out? 2012?

After taking a shit load of heroin I'm sure your handwriting would change and go a bit wonky, I recall the handwriting being a bit messy towards the end. Heroin + nerves of killing yourself..
Even though he had a lot of heroin, stranger things have happened. Courtney had motive so I'm not 100% on it, but it just seemed like a suicide. I've not actually seen the documentary in a fair while.. so I can't remember what happened in the hotel. But he climbed the Exodus wall because he was being made to get clean by his wife, climbed the wall... and then killed himself.

And according to this one it's Ewan McGregor, whom I'm a bit more comfortable with. But this article came out years ago. So who really knows?

I'd really prefer if they got a relatively unknown actor to play the role. I don't wanna see Vampires and Obi-Wan-Kenobe playing Kurt.
