If he wants to make money and be a pin up for 12 year olds, that's the path he wants, I'll be happy to let him take it. I do agree it is "cool" to hate him, but I don't care about him, long as he doesn't star in films I'm interested in. After making all that money to try and establish himself as a serious actor in films that are in a different class to fairies and vampires and a crap romance. Actors can muck up the role, most directors give the character creative control over characters. The director believes in the actor doing the research and then portraying the character how they see fit.

Honestly, I'd love it if he was a talented actor that blows everyone away but he doesn't seem to have the acting capabilities.. I really disagree about the actors not being able to muck it up.

Enough about his acting skills, I just flat out don't think he has the proper look or vibe for Kurt.

I think that's how most people feel, please God no but if it's true then good luck, I hope you do it justice.
All actors start their career with embarrassing roles. I won't be judging these beginners for wanting to be famous by starring in Twilight or High School Musical.

We'll see though which roles they'll choose next. As for Pattinson, portraying Salvador Dali, then Kurt Cobain.. I think the guy is on the right track.

I flat-out don't think that the film itself is a very good idea.

Thing is, I think it's a great story but I just know they'll F it up somehow. Or who knows... it could be as genius as Sid and Nancy.

Anybody else find it ironic that a multimillionaire teenage heartthrob centric to a billion-dollar franchise is playing a role of a guy who hated blatant consumerism? I mean, I might have my p's and q's mixed up once in a while but I'm pretty sure that logic is somewhat fucked.

I suppose Sam Walton might have been a worse choice, but Courtney seems like she's trying as hard as she can to make a mockery out of Kurt's legacy.

Yeah, exactly. Actually making a film in the first place is a bit of an affront to that. I'm pretty sure it's false though.

Which is the attitude people should have. Does he suit the role? maybe pattinson seems clean cut and all that jazz. Maybe he could turn out to be the guy we all think he isnt, i guess if he's a decent actor he should be able to portray himself as a badass musician. We'll see.

And some break out of that embarrassing character that they were first cast in, I just don't believe he'll do that. Which is a shame.
