Default A Question

Do any of you guys know of any music magazines that will review unsigned, unsolicited material? Preferably metal based, or even just a well-rounded, underground zine would be ideal as well.

Well? Any thoughts?

Dude,

First of all, long time no talk. Good to see you back around, although I was gone awhile myself.

Second, have you checked Rock Pulse? It's an online portal for all kinds of up and coming bands from all over the world. They review a lot of EP's and debuts from bands from everywhere. I don't have a lot of experience with it but I know people who have worked with them. They seem cool enough. They are based in the UK, but like I said it's for bands all around the world.

Right on, dude. It has been a while. I stop by from time to time.

And thanks for that. That is one that I haven't heard of yet. We're on just about everything else that there is for bands: Myspace, Facebook, Twitter, ReverbNation, yaddayaddayadda... But I will definitely check that out starting.... now.

Are you on purevolume as well? it's more for hipster bands, but still gets a lot of traffic.

I listened to all the songs on Myspace, it's good stuff. You have a demo or EP for sale?

Yeah. I think we're on purevolume, too.

Hey, thanks. We actually have a 12 track full-length recorded right now. We're just waiting for the right time to release it. Still putting together the artwork and layout and **** like that, and then we're going to want to have a tour lined up to support it, so we're biding our time. Playin' chess with the mother ****er. But we do sell 4 or 5 song demos.

If the question had been about punk/ska/indie/psychobilly music then I could have helped. Sadly, rock is one area I don't cover.

(Shameless self publicity over!)
