What I mean are the codes are easy to figure out and even write by hand, but yeah - it's not easy to make a good layout with pure html. It's old-fashioned. I wrote my first homepage in notepad, but noone does that anymore.

If you want a more customizable blog, think about hosting a wordpress blog on your own domain. It's powerful, highly customizable and easy to get into.
